Amplify Austin’s Spring Service Day 2014

For this spring’s Entrepreneur’s Foundation 2014 project, BestFit Mobile joined volunteer forces from all over Austin at Sanchez Elementary School. Working collaboratively, we painted portables, laid a new running track, and spruced up the campus in other ways. BestFit’s main project was to revive this garden with a new limestone wall and plantings in an effort to improve the facilities for the students, families and community.

About the Entrepreneurs Foundation Service Days

Since 2004 the Entrepreneurs Foundation has been holding bi-annual service days that benefit either a local elementary, non-profit organization, or municipality. The service days bring together EF member companies & their team members – many hands accomplish much in a single day. From converting a blighted elementary school campus to a well-landscaped one with playscapes, murals and brightly painted halls to rehabilitating the nature trails, maintaining the botanical gardens & freshening up grounds at the Zilker Nature & Science Center to helping the Sustainable Food Center build its newest community gardens in East Austin, EF companies come together while providing an experience that builds teams and company culture. Contact Leigh at Leigh@AmplifyAustin.org to reserve your company’s spot and get involved. Learn More
